Have you thought of going visual?

Nice idea and he reads it beautifully.

139 views in a month doesn't seem many but I suppose it is early days. How would anyone find it unless they knew it was there? Does he know if it has resulted in any sales?

I put some chapters on YouTube last year. They are in a minor minor league when compared to Alex Cullum's, but as a cheap alternative it only cost me the £20.00 I paid for a Skype set.
I read somewhere that you can be guaranteed 100 hits from browsers. If you get the tags right, then people who are looking for what you have to offer will find you.
Also, when anyone is looking at similar stuff, your reading will appear in a list at the side.
I haven't looked at how many hits I've got for ages. I have included links so that any intereseted parties can find me. One person did send me a message just before I was published, asking for more chapters, so I was able to tell them that it would be out soon, but as for sales I haven't got a clue.
Another advantage of having a YouTube video is that you can upload it to your websites, your blog, social networking sites and to sites such as Ecademy, which will increase the number of views.
When you make your video, you will be given a choice of 3 stills to choose from for what you want to appear for people to click on. As each of mine seemed to choose me at a moment when I looked like Shrek, I settled for a non-moving picture of my book cover. The big tip from people in the know is that if you can get a still on there which in any way suggests SEX you will be guaranteed more hits (and I'm not making this up.)
Look forward to seeing more YouTube vids (particularly if you take this last piece of advice!)
