Yes, well - I was probably in an exceptionally good mood that day. Don't be expecting 5s all the time, but ... sure.

Perry I just came on for the first time today and saw your rant. When Chayley put that on there I thought it was a bit of tongue in cheek banter between the two of you. I only let the shit play for half a dozen bars because it was irritating crap, and had no idea it was intended to have a go at you. If I had I would not have made a comment, let alone make her appear right. I apologise if that's the way it looked, we've had some friendly banter over the past few weeks, so don't let some lonely dirtbag get to you.
Tony.

Fine, Tony - sorry. Obviously oversensitive, since I never heard of the blone before, and nothing is posted. As bigbadjoe says - an overreaction on my behalf and the thing is obviously a troll.

Oh dear, I've turned all school Marm.

I can do better than that:

Majordave, if you feel you got an unfair or invalid review, you can ask Ted to restore your credit. I have rarely heard of his refusing to do it. You don't have to give your reviewers credence, but you ought to give them enough respect not to use the Thank You forum to ridicule them.

You probably shouldn't drink and post, either, and that goes for all of you.
No stars. No charts. Just crits.

Does that go for drinking and writing as well? If so, someone should have informed Scott Fitzgerald, Raymond Chandler and Patricia Highsmith, to name but three.

Hemingway, Shaw, Behan, Christie, Conan-Doyle and Joyce etc ad infinitum. Still - valid point. It won't be long before the PC police have some damnable legislation covering use of English on the net.

An ever-expandable list, or should that be Brahms & Lizst. But wasn't Shaw G.B. a teetotaller, whereas the vices of Aircraftman Shaw may have tended in another direction altogether.

And in the real world, Malcolm. There is nothing to stop someone who gets a reaction to a review posting a reply, but when was the last time we saw that happen?

Perhaps you're right. I just assumed he was a drinker because he fell off thon ladder, attended many parties, and refused the Nobel money.
