Each month, the five highest rated authors on the site receive a free critique from a literary professional, who included established authors and a leading London literary agent.
We believe the professional critiques will be extremely useful, not just to the writers who receive them but to all site members, so we make them available for all to view.
Many of the points in the critiques are very insightful and useful, and we think other members will benefit enormously from the professional feedback to help identify strengths and areas which may be improved in their own writing. It is useful to read both the chapters and critiques.
It is best to get a range of reviews from fellow YouWriteOn members, as one opinion is just that, but collectively a range of reviews give valuable feedback as to strengths and areas which might be improved. Members who use feedback to do rewrites have tended to be much highly rated as a result.
