The Last Stitch, the sequel to The Stumpwork Robe, is about to be released courtesy of YWO/Legend/New Generation Publishing. Since December last year when The Stumpwork Robe was released, my book and I have been on quite an incredible journey.

After interviews in the Australian print and electronic media and articles in writing journals in this country, I decided to join Facebook to maximise the novel's exposure. The novel features miniature books which contain the narrative of the fantasy story and through Facebook, a group of high profile international miniature book-artists have taken the novel and developed a series of the most unique collectable pieces which will be released to celebrate the launch of the sequel and made available internationally for specialist collectors to purchase.
In addition, one of Australia's leading literary agencies contacted me and asked to see the novel but only if I could roll the prequel and sequel together as one book. After a lot of work, the 177,000 word (includes glossary and references) manuscript was posted to Sydney this week. It may come to nothing, but I thought members may be interested to see what happens when you take advantage of opportunity.

In the meantime, if you are at all interested in fantasy that reviewed well whilst on YWO and which has good reviews on Amazon.com, have a look at www.pruebatten.com to keep in touch with the news.
Goodluck and best wishes to all other published authors.

Ok folks. Can't speak for the Last Stitch yet, but I'm almost half way through The Stumpwork Robe (the previous in the series) and it's well worth getting hold of.

Go get it, people...
'Interregnum' and 'Marius' Mules' are now on sale. Visit http://www.sjaturney.co.uk for more information.

I second that. 'The Stumpwork Robe' is great. The miniature books are an excellent idea, Prue - very exciting.
