"The Game of Pirate
This was so easy to read, flowed so well that I can't see it not doing well. I rated it highly, which is not usual for me. The dialogue was just so spot on that you couldn't help being drawn right into the heart of the tale. All your characters came across as genuine and highly believable. Not only that, but the story seemed to tear along at a good rate without ever feeling like it was forced. This really was good writing. It reminded me of some of the really great books I used to read when I was a kid - too long ago now - but that is one of the best compliments I can pay you. It had that authenticity and that gritty feel of adventure that sucks yhou into the pages and makes you keep wanting to read more.
So there was very little to criticise. In fact, I couldn't really point out anything that would improve this. All i'd say is make sure you go through it and pick out any typos - I didn't spot any, but then I was deep into the story so I could have missed them.
If you can keep up the intrigue, the detail and the gripping way that this tale is going, you could be onto a winner.
The very best of luck.
