Someone just told me DB is designing the opening ceremony (it's unfortunate that the other DB won't be appearing despite his efforts in getting the thing here in the first place).
We talked about what Danny's theme would be and if it would be something that included an iconic object which represented London's disparate culture and, equally, perhaps a symbol of one of his more controversial works.
I suggested a giant syringe.
Any other ideas?
... an honest insult is so much better than an insincere flattery...
