Sue, did you submit on the webmaster@ address or is there another which I've missed?

DC

Follow the instructions on the Submissions page. The email address is: editorial@alfiedog.com

I've had two accepted now.

One thing to bear in mind is that the publisher's commission comes out of your half of the download price, so it isn't going to make you rich. I had these stories hanging about and they've already been printed in our anthology, so there are not many outlets available and it's better to be out there. If you're looking to make a lump sum rather than a tenner here and there, this may not be the best place. But I'm looking forward to seeing how the venture does. They have a professional attitude, which is comforting.

Ether already have 8 of my stories, so I also thought it better to put some eggs in another basket. Seeing as it's Easter and all.

Read the page and didn't see the email address. I either need new glasses or enhanced powers of concentration.

I've a number of stories which have won or been placed in competitions for which I still hold the rights. Obviously their competition entry lives are over and their themes make them unsuitable for the couple of mags which sometimes buy my work. They may as well we out there somewhere rather than just sitting about on my computer.

Yes, eggs in various baskets is important.

DC - thanks so much for the heads up on this. I'd never have discovered it if you hadn't brought it to everyone's attention.

I've just had two stories accepted.

As Sue says, it won't make anybody rich but it's good to have another outlet. We'll see how it goes!

Good for you, Claire.

Hope you do competitons too as I'm sure your stories would do well.

I have entered a few competitions in the last few months, and recently reached the dizzying heights of a long list, but that's the extent of my success so far!

I find a lot of competitions have quite low word count requirements and brevity never was one of my strengths...

Congrats claire, just upload 4 myself and - in an apparent frenzy - entered yeovil and bridport while at it. We might as well, why not give them a blast, folks - the prizes are attractive and there's more chance than in the lotto. good luck

And being amended now, behold!
So many stories will be sold.
