JIC, anyone else would like to join in with our very select book club, the reading list is below
In The Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes - Sammy is going to read this (when it arrives from Amazon!) I also plan to read it when the library gets its back.
Mountains of the Moon by IJ Kay- I've just finished this. I would reluctantly hug it as it made me cry towards the end. But the narrative voice and the story jumping about drove me crazy and made me want to hurl it several times.
When God was a Rabbit by Sarah Winman
A Sense of Ending by Julian Barnes
The Line of Beauty by Alan Hollinghurst
Breathing Lessons by Anne Tyler- Both Sammy and Lawrence are reading this. I'm halfway through and bored but will try to finish it.
The End Of Everything by Megan Abbott - Salvino, David and I have read this. The former two would recommend it and I too thought the writing was beautiful but I felt uncomfortable with the theme so would reluctantly hurl it. There is a discussion thread lower down on this book where I explain my thoughts.
Divergent- (YA) Veronica Roth- DC, Vic, David, Erict, Beth and I have read this. I don't think David was keen but everyone else enjoyed it. There is a thread on this book.
Hunger Games- (YA) Suzanne Collins- read by David, Beth, Vic and me. I loved the first book and plan to read the other two before commenting.
You Against Me (YA) - by Jenny Downham- recommended by Beth. I've read it too but felt it had a bit too much teenage angst for me (which is probably a good thing as I'm certainly not in the age group of the intended readership).
The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters- currently being read by Beth.
Mister Pip by Lyold Jones - read by just me so far and hugged.
Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech
The Lifeboat by Charlotte Rogan- Sammy and Lawrence plan to read this.
Sorry if I've missed anyone out or any titles. Please feel free to add more or start (or add to) threads discussing these books.

Not yet but I will order these two for the reading. Thank you. Oh, right Hunger Games - that's on film now. Okeedoke, that's that done.

Are those SP? It would be good to read eachothers indie books, and give feed back before they go into paper print. I often find typos and things that should have been edited out in kindle books. I did contact one authour via her website to tell her that she'd changed her character's name half way through. She was very grateful, and changed it as quickly as she could. I found it strange that she had already had five 5* reviews and no one else had noticed it, or wanted to comment on it.
