"Billy McGinty's Window by AJ Bavin

An excellent piece of prose. The characters were brought vividly to life both by the narrator and the language. The story held my interest till the end. I take it that this is a short story and, from my point of view - and perhaps others? - it might have added more meat to the ending by ...

The writing would also be improved by further proof reading, for example:
"I had gained some acclaim of my ..." is 'own' missing?
"feel bad as, now ..." misplaced comma.
"Standing in the middle ... " repetition of.
"Bill says he though that ..." ? Apart from those minor points the story was enjoyable and thought provoking. I wish you further success with it.
