Goodbye one and all. No more writer's forums, just family and friends and no computer, except for boring old work. Umpteen years and I'm pulling the plug. Wishing you all the best, John.

Sounds like a major decision, John. Sure it isn't a just a temporary break you need? Never say never and all that.

Why? All the best in whatever you do but I hope the writing bug still bites.

I hope that doesn't mean you're pulling the plug on writing, Keel. I can certainly understand your desire to stop wasting time on MBs but don't give up on your dreams.

Plus, on a selfish note, we desperately need 'working' members on this site; writers who are serious about the craft and couldn't care less about the sock shows that play out on the forums.
Best wishes, Karen.

Talking about 'sock shows' made me think of this:

Sorry to see you go, John but I understand as I've had to get on with life myself and just pop in now and again. Good luck and it's been really nice to be acquainted with you and have the chance to read some of your work. All the best, Pam. xxx

Good luck, John. I've been toying with a similar decision myself for a while now. I hope everything goes well for you.

I do agree with the others, however, that it would be a great shame for you to give up writing. I've always enjoyed your stories so if you ever want an opinion on anything, you have my email address.

Good Luck Keel -

There is - they're known as Wrigley messages.
Only they stretch & stretch to the point where they frequently surpass even that limit.
Good luck Keel, look forward to catching up later in the year..
