Coming Soon – The 2010 YouWriteOn Book of The Year Awards. Previous winners who have developed on YouWriteOn.com have achieved book deals with leading publishers - including Random House and Orion, who provide free critiques for the Top Ten highest rated writers on site each month - and also Penguin, Harper Collins and Hodder & Stoughton.

Previous winners achievements who developed their stories on YouWriteOn include Caligula by Douglas Jackson - with a 6 figure book deal from Random House; The Third Pig Detective Agency by Bob Burke - winner of the Eilis Dillon Award in the Bisto Book Awards this year; and The Legacy by Katherine Webb, a bestseller this year after being discovered on YouWriteOn by Orion and being chosen as one of the TV Book Club Summer Reads for 2010.

Fantastic - Will the shortlist be published, or just the actual awards?

The final results will be announced directly as last year. We tend to view all the stories under consideration as finalists, as each has entered the youwriteon bestsellers chart by high ratings. As with most awards we have our opinions, but any story may come to achieve success whether it is one of the 'winners' or not, as has happened previously. So as we consider all stories in the bestseller chart to have done very well to get there, grouping those who weren't the final winners as finalists seems more inclusive when recognising writers achievements rather than three tiers of 'winners' 'shortlisted' and others.
