Powerful Stuff PaulE I really enjoyed reading this piece of work. I was completely absorbed right from the beginning. I would probably not have chosen this for myself as i'm not really into stories of battles and war and conflict, but I am so pleased that I was given the opportunity to read it. It is so well written I could picture myself right there in that house with Richard and his poor wife. The loss of the baby, Anne's pain, the anger of the mob and also their fear was so well described. I would really like to know what happens next.
