Since joining YWO I've had the good fortune to be taken on by an agent who handles short fiction for English language magazines around the world. Had several sales so far which is most encouraging. The downside is the stories must not have been 'aired' anywhere so I can't workshop them here but am lucky enough to have the benefit of advice from some of YWO's best critters off-site.

Until very recently I was an indie bookseller. Great way to earn a living, but hard with the competition from the internet, supermarkets and big chains. I took off at the beginning of June to spend the summer travelling around Europe.
